Father and Child

I had saved a photograph of this father and son to use for a study when I was thinking about Joseph and baby Jesus. Joseph can be neglected during Christmas, so I had thought to highlight the fact that He was right there at Mary's side for the birth of Jesus.

Sometimes pictures of the dads with their newborns are not as prominent as pictures of mothers and children. Here is the little one, so helpless, in his big, strong father's hands. It reminds me that we are in our heavenly Father's big, strong hands, and I like that very much.

What a great, magnificent and yet intimate, loving God we have. Our maker. He so deserves our worship.
