French Nails

I get my nails done once in a while. I guess it makes me feel special and pretty. Today was one of those days. After Bible study and working on a website for publishing my art, I went down into the little town I live near and got my nails done. French manicure. My nails look pretty, although I have already messed them up a bit. Some of you know how that is.

I always see the same young woman named Holly. She doesn't speak much English, so it is a quiet, restful time with spa music playing gently in the background. She told me she is having a baby, and next week is her last week. It made me a little sad, but since we haven't spoken much, I guess we haven't made many connections. Still, I will miss her. I think I'll give her a gift for the baby when I see her next Saturday.

I made Christmas cookies that I picture below. These Norwegian cookies are an art form. Edible art...how much better! I have also been working on a website, and that has taken my time this evening. It's a work in progress as well, and I am using the creative gifts God has given me. I will consider it my artwork for today.

It is just being birthed, but here it is in the very beginning stages. For my followers. Marcia because that is my given name. Carole because that is my middle name, but more importantly, that was my mother's name. www.marciacarole.com
