21 Days to Form a Habit

It is day 22 of my personal art challenge. At this point, I really do sense I would miss making daily art if I suddenly stopped. But, being human, I'd probably get over that. However, I am connecting it with an evening time talking with, praying, seeking God, so I think I want it for nuturing my soul now.

I have appreciated my "followers" and others who have "commented" and encouraged me. I sure felt like giving up the first couple of weeks. The urge to leave life in the usual patterns is huge, so making change is hard work. Initial patterns are made within relationships, family and friends. New patterns must be made within grace-filled relationships. Using my God-given talents, especially art, is starting to happen.

I am working on a Christmas card to upload to Vistaprints. Send me your address to my gmail address and I will send you a card this Christmas. I want to convey courage and wonder as our savior arrives. I'll post a picture later today of what I am working on. First, we celebrate my grandson, Micah's, fifth birthday.

I've got it partially done, but will try to finish tomorrow. I wanted to convey the humanity of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, and the prayerful concern as well as joy in Jesus' arrival.
