The forecaster says rain and windy, cool and showery. Where do I live? Take a wild guess. Drizzle, spritz, mist, dribbling, pouring, deluge, sprinkle, rain in the front yard, sun in the backyard, sunshine only as long as it takes to get your running shoes on, then buckets of water sideways, puddles, pouring cats and dogs, thunder, cold, wet wind, wet rain, deep, dark clouds, and then inky, black nightfall. Then an evening downpour splashing hard on the skylights. What is that noise? Seattle.
I know I am in the middle of a cloudscape with beach, but I am going to have to paint some pretty pink flowers to raise my damp, drizzly spirits. Off I go and now I am back with 3 steps to this painting so far. It is 9:10 so I need to tuck in for the 5:50 AM wake-up call to go......
